"Renewal' Hand Tufted Wall Hanging

This hand tufted work is a soft variation of Coral's Cast Iron and Steel 'Crying Eye' Series of sculptures. The work is apotropaic in nature, full of symbols intended to ward of bad luck and malevolent spirits. The green eye in particular is a protective talisman that symbolizes new beginnings, good health and success. It acts against jealousy and malice of others while inviting prosperity and personal growth.  

Set amongst the tufted surface are two amulets in cast pewter, one of the snake and one of a tear, letting go to fulfil our dreams.

The size is 30' x 30' and comes with a copper rod and hooks to hang easily on the wall.
